  • 2 pounds fresh green beans trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounces
  • 0.75 cup milk whole milk preferred
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1.5 cups crispy fried onions

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot of boiling water, cook green beans for about 5 to 6 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • Add cooked green beans and 1 cup of crispy fried onions to the mixture. Stir to coat evenly.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining crispy fried onions on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
