Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat together the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool in the pan before serving. Cut into squares to make individual treats.
