Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning and salsa. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and mix until melted.
Serve hot, garnished with a dollop of sour cream and chopped cilantro.
