  • 1.5 pounds turkey breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt full-fat preferred
  • 0.5 cup cucumber, finely grated and drained
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped optional
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add turkey cubes and toss to coat evenly.
  • Cover and marinate turkey in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Thread the marinated turkey cubes onto skewers.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat and cook skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, and salt in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
  • Serve grilled turkey skewers hot with tzatziki sauce on the side.

Notes

This recipe is perfect for a quick and healthy dinner. Leftover skewers can be wrapped in pita bread with fresh veggies for a tasty lunch.
