Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add ground chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Stir in soy sauce, shredded carrots, and chopped water chestnuts. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
Remove from heat and spoon the chicken mixture into butter lettuce leaves to serve.
Serve immediately and enjoy your tasty chicken lettuce wraps!
Notes
For extra heat, add a dash of sriracha sauce or chopped fresh chili peppers before serving.
