  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 cup shredded cabbage finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 12 count egg roll wrappers store-bought
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil and cook the ground chicken until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Add shredded cabbage, carrots, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the skillet; stir and cook for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  • Remove mixture from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the center of each egg roll wrapper, fold the sides in, and roll tightly.
  • Spray or brush the egg rolls lightly with vegetable oil to help them crisp.
  • Place egg rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can brush egg rolls with a little more oil before air frying. Serve with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce.
