Preparation Steps

  • Rinse and drain the cooked chickpeas thoroughly.
  • In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add chickpeas to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt over chickpeas and stir well.
  • Cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sugar melts and coats the chickpeas.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let cool slightly before serving.
