  • 2 lbs chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough 16 oz package, cut into pieces

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  • Add chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, frozen peas and carrots, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
  • Remove chicken and shred with two forks.
  • Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
  • Add biscuit dough pieces evenly over the chicken mixture.
  • Cover and cook on high for an additional 1 hour, until the dough is cooked through.

Notes

For best results, ensure the biscuit dough pieces are placed evenly and not overlapping excessively.
