  • 1.5 pounds Italian sausage mild or spicy
  • 12 sheets lasagna noodles pre-cooked
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Lay out lasagna noodles on a clean surface. Spread a layer of ricotta cheese on each noodle.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the ricotta layer. Add cooked sausage.
  • Roll up each noodle and place seam-side down in a baking dish.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the roll-ups and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding fresh basil leaves before serving.
