Instructions
Preparation Steps
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
Remove from heat and add dried hibiscus flowers. Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
Strain the hibiscus tea into a pitcher and discard the flowers.
Stir in granulated sugar until dissolved, then add fresh lime juice.
Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
For an extra twist, add a splash of sparkling water before serving for some fizz.
