  • 2 cups water
  • 2 bags black tea bags
  • 1.5 cups milk use whole or any preferred milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey adjust sweetness as desired
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Boil the water in a saucepan and add the black tea bags.
  • Stir in ground cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and strain the tea to remove spices.
  • Stir in honey until dissolved and allow the tea to cool.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour chilled tea halfway, then add milk.
  • Stir gently and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute milk with almond or oat milk and use maple syrup instead of honey.
