  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 tsp red chili flakes adjust to preference
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro chopped

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add chicken pieces and cook until no longer pink, about 7-8 minutes.
  • Stir in fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, and red chili flakes. Cook for another 3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with chopped cilantro, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra heat, add fresh sliced Thai chilies or a dash of Sriracha sauce.
