This Pecan Upside-Down Bundt Cake is a delightful dessert with a gooey pecan topping and a soft, moist cake. Perfect for holiday gatherings or a special treat!
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cup bundt pan.
In a small bowl, mix together melted butter and brown sugar. Pour into the bottom of the prepared bundt pan. Arrange pecan halves on top of the mixture.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour the batter over the pecan mixture in the pan.
Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate. Let it cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For best results, use fresh pecans. Serve with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgence.
