Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add softened butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk to the dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
Gently fold in the sliced peaches.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
In a separate bowl, mix the powdered sugar, heavy cream, and coconut flakes to create the frosting.
Allow the cake to cool before spreading the coconut frosting over the top.
