  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
  • 2 units eggs beaten

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow dish, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then press into the Parmesan mixture to coat both sides.
  • Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake until the chicken is cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a squeeze of lemon juice over the top before serving.
