  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups crushed Oreo cookies about 15 cookies
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies, peppermint candies, and chocolate chips.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
