  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs for crust
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar for crust
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
  • 3 ounces orange gelatin powder
  • 1 cup boiling water for gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest freshly grated

Preparation Steps

  • In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water and let cool to room temperature.
  • Slowly mix the cooled gelatin into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  • Whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the cream cheese mixture along with orange zest.
  • Pour the filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm. Serve chilled.

Notes

Garnish with additional orange zest or slices for an extra touch of citrus flair.
