  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup whole milk room temperature

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch sheet pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla to the butter mixture and beat well to combine.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients and milk alternately to the wet mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle some additional maple syrup over the cake before serving.
