This Meat Stuffed Pasta Shells Recipe is a classic Italian-American dish bursting with delicious flavors. Perfect for family dinners or special occasions.
Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Add the ground beef, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, ricotta cheese, 0.5 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the beaten egg. Mix well.
Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly over the bottom of a baking dish.
Stuff each pasta shell with the meat and cheese mixture and place them in the baking dish. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the top.
Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top of the shells.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
