  • 1 lb ground beef 80% lean
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cups cabbage shredded
  • 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
  • Stir in shredded cabbage, tomato sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until cabbage is tender.
  • Transfer mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
