Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar together until creamy. Mix in vanilla extract, egg, and sour cream until well combined.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
