Preparation Steps
Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add a few popcorn kernels and cover with a lid.
Once the kernels pop, add the rest of the popcorn kernels and sugar. Stir well, cover, and shake the pot occasionally.
Once popping slows down, remove from heat and immediately sprinkle with salt. Stir to coat evenly.
