Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
Fold in the peaches and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack.
Notes
This cake can be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
