  • 1.5 cups diced peaches fresh or canned

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
  • Fold in the peaches and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack.

Notes

This cake can be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
