Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat.
In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Form the beef mixture into 8 equal patties.
Cook the patties on the preheated griddle, 2 to 3 minutes per side for medium doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
Spread butter on the inside of the buns and toast them on the griddle until golden.
Assemble burgers by placing two patties in each bun, topping with optional onions, lettuce, and tomato.
Notes
Serve with fries or a side salad for a complete meal.
