Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg, red food coloring, vanilla extract, and vinegar to the butter mixture and mix well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For an extra special touch, drizzle cream cheese glaze over the cooled cookies.
