  • 1 cup pineapple juice fresh or canned
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce reduced sodium preferred
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
  • Toss chicken wings in half of the pineapple glaze, then arrange on the prepared rack.
  • Bake wings for 20 minutes, then brush with remaining glaze and bake an additional 5 minutes until caramelized and cooked through.
  • Remove from oven and let rest briefly before serving.

Notes

Serve with fresh lime wedges and a sprinkle of chopped green onions for a vibrant finish.
