Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top.
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
Toss chicken wings in half of the pineapple glaze, then arrange on the prepared rack.
Bake wings for 20 minutes, then brush with remaining glaze and bake an additional 5 minutes until caramelized and cooked through.
Remove from oven and let rest briefly before serving.
