Preparation Steps
In a large pot, combine apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and water.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and the apples are tender, about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Transfer to airtight containers or freezer bags and freeze. The filling can be stored in the freezer for up to 6 months.
