  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt for tzatziki sauce
  • 0.5 cup cucumber grated and drained, for tzatziki
  • 2 cloves garlic minced, for tzatziki
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 4 pieces pita bread
  • 0.5 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 0.25 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup crumbled feta cheese

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken thighs and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken thighs for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and slightly charred. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • While the chicken cooks, prepare tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, and fresh lemon juice in a bowl. Stir well and season with salt as needed.

  • Slice the cooked chicken into strips. Warm pita bread in a pan or oven.
