  • 2 tablespoons egg nog preferably store-bought or homemade
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg plus extra for dusting

  • Place the white chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl.
  • Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer, then pour over the chocolate chips.
  • Let sit for 2 minutes to soften the chocolate, then stir until smooth and combined.
  • Stir in egg nog, vanilla extract, and ground nutmeg.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours or until firm enough to scoop.
  • Using a small spoon or melon baller, scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • Dust the truffles lightly with additional ground nutmeg before serving.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Allow them to come to room temperature before serving for best flavor.
