Preparation Steps
In a medium pot, bring the chicken broth to a gentle boil over medium heat.
Stir in the grated ginger, soy sauce, and white pepper into the broth.
Slowly pour the cornstarch slurry into the broth while stirring constantly until the soup thickens slightly.
Reduce heat to low. Slowly drizzle the beaten eggs into the soup in a thin stream while stirring gently to create silky ribbons.

Notes
