Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a bowl, cream together the butter and half of the sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the milk.
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture until just blended.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the batter.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
