  • 2 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo sauce finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, combine chipotle peppers, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  • Place the flank steak in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, making sure to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Heat a grill or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  • Remove the steak from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  • Serve with your favorite sides and garnish as desired.

Notes
