Preparation Steps
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook bow tie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well coated with sauce.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or milk. You can also add steamed vegetables for extra nutrition.
