Instructions
Preparation Steps
Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.
Spread mashed avocado on one slice of the bread.
Layer the sliced cooked chicken and cheddar cheese on top of the avocado.
Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
For variation, add tomato slices or swap cheddar for mozzarella.
