  • 2 slices Whole wheat bread
  • 5 oz Cooked chicken breast sliced
  • 0.5 cup Avocado mashed
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise optional
  • 1 tsp Olive oil

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  • Spread mashed avocado on one slice of the bread.
  • Layer the sliced cooked chicken and cheddar cheese on top of the avocado.
  • Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  • Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

For variation, add tomato slices or swap cheddar for mozzarella.
