Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken breasts, season with salt, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Return chicken to skillet and pour barbecue sauce over the top. Stir to coat everything evenly and cook for another 3-4 minutes until heated through.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For a lighter option, serve with steamed vegetables or a fresh green salad.
