  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add the almond milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  • Stir in the apple cider vinegar until the batter is smooth.
  • Gradually stir in the boiling water until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
