  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil for frying

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Dip each chicken thigh in buttermilk, then dredge in the seasoned flour mixture until fully coated.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot.
  • Fry the chicken thighs for 7-8 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken and drain on paper towels before serving hot.

Notes

For extra crispy chicken, double dredge by dipping again into buttermilk and flour before frying.
