Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1.5 tbsp tandoori masala spice mix store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, garlic paste, ginger paste, salt, and vegetable oil to create the marinade.
  • Add the chicken wings to the marinade and mix well to coat all wings evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the wings for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  • Remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can spray oil lightly on the wings halfway through cooking. Serve with a side of cooling raita or chutney.
