  • 1.5 cups milk 2% milk or your favorite milk
  • 0.25 cup creamy peanut butter natural, unsweetened if possible
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt optional for extra creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional, to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds optional

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Peel the bananas and break them into chunks for easier blending.
  • Add bananas, milk, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and chia seeds to a high-speed blender.
  • Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy, about 45 to 60 seconds.
  • Add the ice and blend again until the smoothie is thick and frosty. Adjust with more milk to thin or more ice to thicken as desired.
  • Pour into 2 glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a pinch of cinnamon or banana slices if you like.

Notes

For extra chill and sweetness, freeze the banana chunks ahead of time. To make it dairy-free, use almond milk and skip the yogurt or replace with a dairy-free yogurt. Leftovers keep covered in the fridge up to 24 hours; re-blend with a few ice cubes before serving.
