Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
