  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • 0.5 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 0.125 teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Add almond milk to the blender jar.
  • Add frozen bananas, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, honey (if using), vanilla, and salt.
  • Top with ice. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy, about 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Taste and adjust: add more milk for a thinner smoothie, more ice for thicker, or more honey for sweetness.
  • Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegan version, use a dairy-free yogurt or omit yogurt and add 0.25 cup more almond milk. Boost protein with a scoop of chocolate or vanilla protein powder, adding extra milk as needed. For a smoothie bowl, reduce milk to 1.0 cup and blend with a tamper until thick.
