Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 ounce cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1.5 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.75 cup mini chocolate chips plus more for topping
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream as needed for consistency

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter with a hand mixer until very smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  • Add the peanut butter and vanilla; beat until fully combined.
  • Gradually mix in the powdered sugar and salt on low speed until incorporated, then increase to medium and whip until light.
  • Beat in heavy cream, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dip is creamy and scoopable.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with extra chips.
  • Serve with pretzels, graham crackers, apple slices, or cookies. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days.

Notes

For a thinner dip, add an extra splash of cream. For a firmer texture, chill for 20 to 30 minutes before serving. If using natural peanut butter, stir very well; the dip may be looser.
