  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  • Combine the flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Fold in the blueberries.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

Notes

Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
