Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add milk, eggs, and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
