Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add milk, eggs, and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
