Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef 85% lean
  • 1 packet taco seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas burrito-size
  • 4 small corn tortillas tostada shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil for grilling

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Stir to combine and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Warm the flour tortillas to make them pliable.
  • To assemble, lay one flour tortilla on a flat surface. Spread nacho cheese sauce in the center.
  • Add a tostada shell on top of the cheese, followed by cooked beef, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and shredded cheese.
  • Fold the edges of the flour tortilla over the toppings, creating pleats to enclose the filling.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the wrap seam side down and grill until golden brown.
  • Flip the wrap and grill the other side. Serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to customize with jalapenos or salsa for added spice.
