Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté diced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
Place chicken breasts in the crock pot and add sautéed onions and garlic.
Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Shred the chicken using two forks, then add grated Parmesan cheese and baby spinach.
Stir until the cheese has melted and the spinach is wilted.
Serve hot, garnished with more Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add crushed red pepper flakes or a few drops of hot sauce before serving.
