  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder

  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil for brushing

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and toss them in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the coated wings on the wire rack and lightly brush with vegetable oil to help them crisp.
  • Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let the wings rest for 5 minutes before serving hot.
