Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Add diced onion and sauté until soft. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Lower to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and chopped kale. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
