  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • 8 oz bacon diced
  • 12 oz pasta penne or fusilli
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • In the same skillet, add olive oil and chicken. Cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Add garlic to the chicken and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Add the cooked pasta and bacon back into the skillet. Toss to combine.
  • Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Adjust the seasoning to your taste and serve with a side of garlic bread for a complete meal.
