Instructions
Preparation Steps
Melt each type of chocolate in separate bowls over a double boiler until smooth.
In three medium bowls, whip 2 cups of heavy cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Set aside.
Gently fold one-third of the whipped cream into each bowl of melted chocolate until well combined.
In a separate large bowl, beat the egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form.
Divide the beaten egg whites into three portions and fold each portion into the chocolate mixtures gently.
Layer the dark chocolate mousse in serving glasses, followed by the milk chocolate mousse, and finally, the white chocolate mousse.
Chill the assembled dessert for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For an extra touch, garnish with chocolate shavings or fresh berries before serving.
